Hudson Street Embankment Clean Up!
As part of the Bingham Park Revitalization Project, we began cleaning up the over growth of trees along the Hudson Street embankment! Our volunteers spent the weekend removing trees that were dead, dying, of poor growth, growing at angles off the hillside, impeding growth of healthy trees, and removing brush that was growing through and damaging the retaining wall. Did you know there was a set of rock steps there?! We’d like to thank the following for donating their time and equipment, we truly appreciate your help:
Joe Kmetz, Kmetz Nursery
Carl Sinawa, Carl Sinawa Tree Service
Gary Repsher, Atkinson Materials - A Division of H&K Group, Inc.
Our project is becoming a huge success - thanks to our caring community members, the park is looking great!
Making more progress!
